Here's a few pics from an oppressively hot afternoon blasting through the Columbia Gorge. One of my favorite routes.

Hot old film, sand scratches and dog hair..
Degradation of chronological order, but fairly accurate. Summer was winding down but the heat was not. Taylor and Marcus were already out there the day prior, everywhere; on a DynaEnduro marathon. No shortage of inflatable devices.
Late to my own thing and we had nowhere to camp. 11am tequila pacing, early birds already buzzing on barstools; others out in the gravel lot leaning where the leaning was good. No stress in the air.. A lightbulb went off in Tyler's head and within minutes secured us the heat farm. Stragglers and refuelers rolled up, hot oil mixed with the rich scent of exhaust as bikes started. Down Willamette, over the St. John's bridge, an oscillating pack of noise down highway 30. Pristine curves and varied riding styles on their way to the annual campout... and so it went.

Plan has changed Portway at 11.. Map is not 100% accurate
This is it.. The one you've been waiting for!!
---Women, Men and those in-between welcome! No kids or shitty dogs.
Show up with a full tank, drink a coffee or beer, eat a quick hotdog. If your bike can't make it 200-300 miles in a weekend.. fix it up? Also bring cash, make fill ups easy. If you plan on driving a big ass van or a truck there is no guarantee on parking at the campsite.. Get a loaner bike? Or bring a bunch of food, water, people, rafts, beer, wood and we'll find you a place to settle in..
Potential 5-20 miles of dirt roads, bring a cushion, enjoy the river & scenery? Whatever, see you there. Crabs.

We're meeting somewhere for the annual ride out.. TBA
The spot is up in the air (disregard the map on the current fliers), but barely uncertain, it'll be toward the coast. Refreshing air and drinks with timeless friends....
Meeting: 9-10am Sept 2nd..

Watch out for warp with thin living.
Objects for foot interaction.
The intertwined steel will be hard pressed to separate.
Could finish before I buy my first Hoveround..
The smoother things get the higher the stress.
Friends. (not pictured)

Some things are good, some are worn out. These little trips are the best, waking up too early & a little damp. More of a quiet contest than your standard group loud contest. Don't you enjoy the person that doesn't really listen to your story & is waiting to tell their own better version?
